The Resort Hof Weissbad with the 4-star superior hotel "Hotel Hof Weissbad" and the 3-star hotel "Hotel Weissbad Lodge" rests at the foot of the Alpstein and is entirely in the service of well-being, Appenzell traditions, health and relaxation.

Relax in our modern wellness area, the bathing and sauna house with bio sauna, Finnish sauna, steam bath, Kneipp basin and various relaxation rooms. From everywhere they have a clear view of nature. The large sunbathing terrace with the unique view of the "Glandenstein" place of power invites you to linger and sunbathe. On the ground floor is the heated outdoor pool with 35°C warm water, a pleasant bubble bath and a refreshing natural swimming pool as well as an indoor and outdoor pool with its own spring water (33°C). You can also enjoy a soothing massage or cosmetic treatment that will pamper you all around.

Our kitchen team will spoil you daily with Käthi Fässler (16 Gault Millau). She and her team incorporate classic Appenzell specialities with regional products into an exciting gourmet cuisine. The gourmet menu is a must for every visit.

First-class comfort awaits you in all 90 rooms - most of them with a balcony and a fantastic view of the Alpstein.

In our resort you will also find our flower workshop - a place for special events -, the courtyard house with show kitchen, the farm cheese dairy for convivial evenings and our modern seminar park. The impressive wooden construction with the large window front facing the Schwendebach opens up a unique panoramic view of the Alpstein. The bright, light-flooded seminar rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology. In addition to two large seminar rooms, there is a group room, a boardroom and creative workspaces right by the stream.
For special events, exclusive dinners or creative meetings, the small, pretty courtyard house with show kitchen and the enchanting flower workshop create an unforgettable ambience.
