Introdução
The Pasquart is a space for innovative, creative young artists and encourages those with talent to develop new works of art for the exhibitions.
The Pasquart was opened in 1990 in the old city hospital. The oldest part was built in 1866 as the first hospital in Biel and now the renovated and expanded Pasquart serves the broader public. The work of Basel architects Diener & Diener, the ensemble offers a perfect and harmonious blend of old and new. The Kunsthaus Pasquart provides Switzerland and in particular the region with innovative contemporary art exhibitions. These support the awareness of contemporary artistic creativity and its importance to the community and contribute to the promotion of the artists.
