신체 움직임에 영향을 미치는 뇌 장애를 가진 이들, 그리고 그 가족들에게는 모든 것에서 벗어나 긴장을 푸는 시간이 중요하다. 하지만 장애인 접근 차량, 휠체어 접근 가능 숙소 혹은 특수한 도움 없이 휠체어 사용자가 여행하는 것은 불가능하다. Cerebral Foundation은 이런 사람들에게 휴양, 레저 액티비티 및 도움을 제공한다. Cerebral Foundation은 스위스 인증 기관에 위해 자연단체로 인정 받는 단체다. 이곳의 활동은 주로 개인과 회사가 남긴 기부금, 상속금, 유산으로 이루어진다.

Cycle hire
In a pioneering project, the Cerebral Foundation has launched a cycle hire scheme for disabled people across the whole of Switzerland. With numerous hire stations across the country, special electrically-assisted bikes can be hired on attractive terms, making family outings in beautiful surroundings possible.

The Cerebral Foundation has two wheelchair-accesible camper vans to hire at attractive rates. There are also accessible bungalows available on Lake Brienz, in Hinterkappelen, just outside Bern, on Lake Sempach and on Lake Maggiore, as well as a wheelchair-accessible caravan on Lake Lucerne.

Dualski: Bellwald and Sedrun
Families who have a child with a disability should be able to enjoy winter sports too. Thanks to the activity provided by the Cerebral Foundation in Bellwald and Sedrun, this is a reality, having developed infrastructure accessible to those with a disability and acquired dualskis, available free of charge for instructors. Parents can hire these skis and take up training in dual-skiing.

Assisted Holidays
With the Assisted Holidays project, the Cerebral Foundation makes it possible for the whole family to spend a relaxing holiday away from home. Disabled family members are supported hourly by a trained professional at the resort. This allows parents to spend some alone time together, or to entertain kids without disabilities as well.
