The sunny mountain hotel was originally built in the last century. It is idyllically located at the foot of the Morteratsch glacier, with its own stop of the legendary UNESCO railway line. Modern and inviting rooms with wooden floors. Three stylish Engadine restaurants, cuisine from the Graubünden region, fondue and raclette restaurant, house specialities are the homemade smoked bacon, salmon and fresh trout. Tasty dessert buffet in the afternoon. The hotel is ideal for cross-country skiers, hikers, mountaineers and families.

The Morteratsch is situated very quiet, 5 km outside Pontresina, and lies at the foot of the Bernina Alps. Starting-point for hiking and mountain climbing as well as stopover for cross-country and alpine skiers.Railway stop just opposite the hotel entrance (legendary Bernina Express).
