equissima®, an equestrian festival dedicated to the horse world, is back on the hill overlooking Lausanne for its 26th edition and promises an immersive and entertaining experience for families and
Inspire: an entrance to the horse world The “Inspire” programme aims to make the world of horses accessible to all, without barriers. Young visitors will be able to take part in educational workshops and discover crafts linked to the world of horses, so that each and everyone can immerse themselves in the fascinating universe of horses. Challenge: competitions and demos The “Challenge” programme enables spectators to admire quality performances with the final of the freestyle dressage to music, a Six-Bar challenge, a show-jumping event, a driving derby in two rounds as well as the Western Switzerland Vaulting Championships. Eventing will also be demonstrated in a new format. equissima® Village: experiencing horse riding as a family The epicentre of the festival will offer many stalls and exhibitions where visitors can explore various aspects of equestrian culture. Special activities for children will be organised to ensure the whole family enjoys a memorable day. A broad choice of catering will round off the weekend in an ideal way.
