At the Locorama in Romanshorn the young and the young at heart are taken to the exciting world of railways.
The foundation wants to preserve the historic buildings in the vicinity of Romanshorn Railway Station and make the buildings accessible to the public in the form of a living museum. The locomotive depot is the core of the historic buildings. The locomotive driving simulator is an extremely popular attraction at the Locorama. After being introduced to the machine by an expert, visitors can ride on various stretches of the Thurbo railway network in the driving simulator. The driving experience is like the real thing.
