We are often in the sun and the terrace invites you to linger. If the weather isn't so great, we also have a cozy restaurant with a homely wood-burning stove to keep you warm.

In our kitchen we use many fresh and healthy products from the surrounding area: vegetables from the Seeland, fish from our lakes, meat from neighbouring farmers.

Our cuisine is simple and puts forward fresh and first quality products.

In our "Dorfbeiz" you will find popular Swiss dishes, a large selection of beers and - so it is rumored - the best pizokels in the whole Engadin on the menu.

The Alpgschwänd mountain inn is perched high above Hergiswil on Mount Pilatus. There we cook and spoil you with the finest delicacies from kitchen and cellar.

The Hut is open year-round and guarded daily in the summer months from June to September, in the winter period during weekends and school vacations.
