A unique building by star architect Daniel Libeskind houses around 2,000 square metres of water, with bathing fun for the whole family.
Bernaqua, the largest adventure pool in the Bern-Mittelland region, offers plenty of opportunities for play, fun, sport and pure excitement. The adventure pool is a swimming pool of superlatives: various indoor and outdoor pools invite you to swim and relax. There are three giant water slides and a white water canyon, including the longest covered water slide in Switzerland. Separate children’s area and a charming bistro.
The Bernaqua wellness complex, an oasis of enjoyment and well-being, is a place where you can treat your body and soul to an intense experience that promotes inner balance and pure relaxation. Visitors can choose between a Roman-Irish bathing ritual, a sauna environment of unbelievable variety, a Kneipp therapy area, relaxing massages or beauty treatments.
Getting there: By suburban railway, tram or bus from Bern station to “Bern Brünnen Westside” or by car (the Bernaqua is located in the Westside shopping centre, exit 32 Bern Brünnen from the motorway).
