Overview
Intro
The Sustenhorn, Grimsel region and Finsteraarhorn on the one side, with Lake Brienz, the Rothorn and Jura in the far distance on the other. A beautiful vantage point to the east of the Bernese Oberland.
The Hasliberg stretches from the Brünig Pass as far as Reuti – to where a cable car from Meiringen ascends, with the gondola railway continuing on to Bidmi, Mägisalp and Planplatten.
The panoramic Alpen Tower restaurant is the hallmark of this mountain, from where hikers set foot on attractive hikes on highland paths to the Käserstatt or Melchsee Frutt region, on to the Engstlenalp and up and over the Joch Pass to Engelberg.

Train to Meiringen, on foot through the village (15 minutes), cable car to Hasliberg Reuti; or train to the Brünig Pass, Posbus to Hasliberg Reuti, and by gondola rail (3 sections, 1x change of transport) to the Planplatten (Alpen tower)
