Mont Fort – almost in the high mountains

The ride on all the different cableways is an adventure by itself. It takes four cable cars from the village of Verbier to reach the summit: three of them depart from Siviez, accessible by bus from Haute-Nendaz.

The final 400m over the glacier to the 3,329m Mont Fort are also covered by a cable car from Col des Gentianes. At the summit stands a cross overlooking a landscape of glaciers and high mountains.

Particularly attractive are the notorious sunrise trips to Mont Fort for early risers!
The cableways can be used for a round trip through Verbier and Nendaz; mountain bikers take on the “Tour du Mont Fort” (tdmf.ch) with long descents and spectacular passages. Altitude: 3329m
