Overview
Intro
The Furka Cogwheel Steam Railway takes visitors back to the golden age of steam railways in Switzerland.
The journey leads from Realp through the magnificent mountain landscape of the Central Alps and on over the historic route of Glacier Express to Oberwald in Canton Valais. The intermediate stop at Furka station takes travellers to the routes highest point of 2160 metres a.s.l.
