Experience the "Züglete" at first hand. On this day, the farmers and their cows will move from the mountains through the promenade to the "Vorschess". The spectacle opens at around 9.30 a.m.

After a four-months summer spent in the hills, the colourfully decorated cattle returns to the valley on Saturday 27th of September 2025.

The animals are sheared, brushed, adorned with large bells, their heads decorated with a fir tree crowned with flowers. The village is also particularly decorated and flowered for the occasion.

The Entlebuch Alpabfahrt takes place every year at the end of September. Over 300 head of cattle, accompanied by herdsmen make their way from their summering pastures to Schüpfheim.
