Intro
Deeply rooted in the population, Shrovetide has become an important social and economic event for the entire Lake Morat region and is appreciated throughout Switzerland.

Friday, February 28, 2025 at 7:01 p.m.: Start of Carnival with the gastro evening

Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 3:01 p.m.: Children's ball and subsequent children's parade with all Guggenmusik members present (parents also invited)
Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 6:33 p.m. - approx. 10:00 p.m.: Schnitzelbank soirée - performances by the Schnitzelbänklers and musical entertainment, accompanied by fine food (reservation is an advantage, entry is free). In the restaurants: Hotel Schiff Murten, La Brasserie Murten, Restaurant Käserei Murten and in the KIB
