The holiday house Rothaus in Hinterrhein (canton Graubünden, Switzerland) is a listed house on the former mule track. All the rooms are made of wood, equipped with impressive old beds (some four-poster beds) and new mattresses. Bright kitchen and lounge. Behind the house there are several high trees as well as an outdoor seating area with a fireplace. Children will enjoy the swing, slide and sandpit.
The village of Hinterrhein can be reached from Zurich over the A13 motorway, via Chur/San Bernardino Pass. The house is located at the right-hand entrance of the village and directly accessible by car. Car parking is available at a distance of 50m from the house. The house is located only a five minutes' walk from the Rhine River and near a small mountain lake. Two ski areas can be reached within a ten minutes' drive. Farm with animals producing organic food situated nearby, can be visited. Alpine farm accessible on foot. Valser museum and artificial ice-skating rink located in the village of Splügen.
