Welcome in our Hotel! You find the Hotel de Moiry, with its pretty guesthouse the Chalet Arolle, in the heart of the old village of Grimentz in the south of the Swiss mountains, where the Salamin family has been welcoming visitors for generations. In our hotel in Grimentz you discover our customs, traditions as well as the alpine fauna from the Val d’Anniviers on the marvelous wall painting with the fighting cows, on a colorful glass painting, in solid wooden sculptures and in the amazing animal photographies of the owner, Aurel Salamin.
Our hotel is located in the historical centre of Grimentz. In a few minutes you can walk will across one of the most beautiful villages in Switzerland and reach the ski lifts.

A picture-book village with rustic wooden houses, windows boxes filled with geraniums, and, in the middle of it all, the venerable Hotel de Moiry with its ultra-cosy rooms. The fresh mountain air is a free perk, and the rooms are sweetly scented by pinewood panelling and feature large lamp-lit photos of the flora and fauna of Valais.
