Chesa Colani is located at the centre of Madulain, directly overlooking the Zuoz golf course and a breath-taking mountain view. The village is the oldest in Engadine with only 170 inhabitants. The eighteenth-century church of San Bartrumieu is visible from all the windows of the hotel, together with the works of art created especially for Chesa Colani. Around Madulain there are magnificent larch forests and some monuments of Engadine history such as the Fortress of Guardaval. Sainkt Moritz is only 12 kilometres away and can be easily reached in 10 minutes. It can also be visited by train: the Rhaetian Railway stops just a few hundred meters from the hotel
