Dedicated to modern design and built from Appenzell moon wood, the new 4-star superior Hotel Huus Löwen combines contemporary comfort with the warm atmosphere of the Appenzell region. The 24 rooms are located on the upper floors of the historic village inn with a modern extension. There are three categories. Those who choose the historic part of the house benefit from traditional knitted construction and a spectacular view of the Alpstein. You spend the night in centuries-old walls, and in the suite the restored roof beams are exposed. The bright family rooms are a welcome mix of fun and privacy for the whole family with a king-size bed for the parents and up to two children in the modern bunk bed. Panoramic windows and an upholstered bench invite you to look at the mountains and stars together.
