A warm welcome to the Erholungshaus St. Josefshaus. Enjoy the breathtaking 360-degree panoramic view of the valley and the surrounding mountains in the spacious lounge with roof terrace. Here you can unwind or simply work out inspiring ideas for your projects. For this purpose, the in-house library is at your disposal in the basement. Today, the hotel, formerly run by the sisters of the Franciscan order, is owned by the Benedictine monastery of Engelberg. The guesthouse of the monastery welcomes you warmly. 44 charming and individually furnished single, double and family rooms await you. Our kitchen team spoils the guests with a rich breakfast buffet as well as homemade specialties from regional and seasonal products.
The St. Josefshaus is located only 5 minutes walk from the train station and is right next to the Benedictine monastery. A beautiful location that invites you to relax.

Meeting

Part renovated hotel with a mix of single-, double- and family rooms, 2 big seminar rooms with modern technical infrastructure and a meeting room. The biggest seminar rooms offer the ideal opportunity for a meeting for approx. 100 persons. In our garden we have a cosy cheese fondue shred for approx. 8 persons or what about an aperitif for approx. 30 persons in our rooftop bar. An underground car park and outdoor parking spaces are available.
