The Hotel Polo welcomes you in the middle of the beautiful town of Ascona in Ticino. Ascona is situated in a magnificent, sunny bay on Lake Maggiore and is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Switzerland. Thanks to its central location, you can reach the piazza, the lake and the old town in just a few minutes. The Hotel Polo has 38 spacious, bright and comfortable rooms with a Mediterranean flair. The rooms, as well as the bathrooms, are regularly renovated with great attention to the detail. The modern attic rooms impress with their spacious roof terrace and the wonderful lake and mountain view. In the Restaurant Polo you will be pampered with homemade Ticino specialities and Neapolitan pizza. We lead our hotel with love and joy. The ideal place for all guests who like a natural and uncomplicated approach.
The Hotel Polo is located in the centre of Ascona just 5 Walking minures away from the old town, the lake an the Piazza. It is easily accessible by public Transportation. The Trains from Italy or the German part of Switzerland go to Locarno-Muralto and from there buses 1 and 316 run frequently to Ascona Centrale, which is just 200 m away from the hotel. By car, travellers from the German part of Switzerland follow the Highway A2 through the Gotthard tunnel until Bellinzona, and then follow directions to Locarno-Ascona.
