Near Lake Neuchâtel, the village of Bonvillars hosts Switzerland's first truffle market every last Saturday in October.

A la découverte du Bourru, is a tradition in the heart of the Côte vineyard. Some winegrowers from Begnins, Luins, Vinzel and Bursins open their cellars to wine lovers.

Discovery and tasting of noble vintages and local products. Takeaway sales. Restaurant with culinary specialities, fondue, tartare. Musical entertainment three evenings. Catering until 11pm.

Attached to its traditions, the village of St-Cergue is passionate about perpetuating the authentic celebration of the désalpe, during which locals and visitors can enjoy watching the beautifully decorated herds as they pass by, browse round the market

At the end of September, the Fête du Vacherin Mont-d’Or marks the season start for this soft cheese typical of the Vallée de Joux.
