Elegant lakeside hotel with a magnificent view. 42 stylish rooms, most of them with a balcony and a view of the lake and mountains. Conference rooms for up to 120 persons. The restaurant features a classical seasonal cuisine with fish specialities, and an attractive pavilion annex. Wellness facility with sauna and steam bath, different treatments, outdoor pool, sunbathing area, and private beach. The city center of Lucerne can be reached in a mere 10 minutes from the hotel and its calm surroundings on the Horw peninsula.
Located on the quiet “Horw” peninsula, Lucerne's city center can be reached in only 15 minutes, by boat (in summer) or public bus. The old town with its proximity to Lake Lucerne, the Alps and many sights is a popular destination and offers countless opportunities. At the Seehotel Kastanienbaum you can enjoy direct views of the lake or the mountains in all rooms. On the lakeside terrace and in our restaurant you will be served regional delicacies and newly interpreted classics with a magnificent view of Lake Lucerne. In winter, the lakeside terrace is transformed into a winter wonderland with cozy fondue huts. Relax and unwind in our small spa area with sauna and steam bath (daily on request). Our heated outdoor pool incl. private beach is open from May to mid-October, weather permitting. WLAN is available free of charge throughout the hotel.
