The Art Nouveau villa in the idyllic village of Fusio was built in 1908 and has now been tastefully redesigned. Its nine rooms have been lovingly furnished with a mix of historic, vintage and contemporary furniture. The open-air salt water hot pot is the perfect spot from which to savour the magnificent scenery. The villa also offers high-quality organic cuisine, a beautiful library and a programme of cultural events. It enjoys a peaceful hillside location set within secluded grounds opposite the picturesque village of Fusio.

The one that opens up to us when we give up the superfluous, everything that makes up our exhausting daily life. And when we welcome, with wonder, everything that will make the beauty of a stay, of a place! From June to mid-October, Villa Pineta offers common areas – a small bar, a lounge with a fireplace, a beautiful dining room, a charming library – a large terrace, secret places in the park, a salt water hot pot to recharge your batteries, a cuisine that celebrates the season and the region, spacious rooms, some of them family rooms, others more modest, regular cultural events, and above all, all the love of detail that goes into making a dream come true.
CLOSE TO LIFE FAR FROM ROUTINE When you arrive at Fusio, at the far end of Valle Maggia - Val Lavizzara, you really have experienced what it’s like to travel! Whether by car or by bus, to say that you get there quickly would be a lie! But once you’ve put your things down, once you’re comfortable, you think about the magnificent and contrasting landscapes that you’ve just crossed. You listen to the silence too. And suddenly, as if by magic, the passing of time is a distant memory. Villa Pineta, sitting on its hillside facing the colourful village, wants to offer guests a "journey through time" (newly Swiss Historic Hotel), a place of retreat and renewal, a place where culture in all its different expressions can be experienced, but also a unique starting point for activities such as hiking, climbing, biking, river swimming or cultural visits.
