Chärnsmatt is more than an inn. It has been a popular destination for many decades. The huge playground with the Liliput train and the indoor playground offers parents and children fun, tranquility, adventure and relaxation at the same time. The inn with its 27 rooms is a perfect place for excursions in the diverse region. Whether a visit to the Swiss Museum of Transport, a boat trip on Lake Lucerne or a child-friendly hike on mount Rigi: everything is possible and can also be reached by public transport. Are you traveling without a family or are you traveling for business? We also have a quiet spot for you in the restaurant. By train: Alight at Rothenburg Dorf or Rothenburg by foot 15 mins from Rothenburg Dorf or 20 mins from Rotherburg. By bus: Nr. 51/52 direct from Lucerne to Lindau. The bus stop Lindau is located right in front of CHÄRNSMATT. By car: Highway exit Rothenburg or Emmen Nord. There is free parking immediately adjacent to the hotel.
