Ideal for those who enjoy a more leisurely pace. The rolling hills of the Fricktal region can be explored without having to undertake any strenuous climbs. Hiking can be just as enjoyable without high mountain peaks. Most of the trails begin in the heart of the romantic Old Town. Explore the river landscape along the Rheinufer-Rundweg trail, discover the art of beer brewing on the Hopfen & Malz trail or set off in search of precious white gold ‒ otherwise known as salt. The well marked routes offer pure enjoyment every step of the way. Rheinfelden is within easy reach of Zurich and Basel.
