Passports & Visas
Every traveler must have a valid passport. A visa is required for stays longer than 3 months. Visa-exempt third-country nationals who plan to enter the Schengen area are required to apply online for an ETIAS travel authorization (subject to a fee) before travelling to the Schengen area. These regulations are valid for the following nationalities: North America, South America (except Belize, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Colombia and Peru), Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Travelers from the EU can also enter the country with an identity card (ID card).
