It is very difficult to choose just one moment from such an epic day, but we adored how the day started and of course its happy conclusion!

Early in the morning the couple was taken from their beautiful hotel Villars Palace to a special excursion, as DJ wanted to surprise Cally, she had no idea where they were going which made the whole ordeal extra fun. They drove to a gathering point nearby and there a helicopter appeared to collect them to their first destination of the day, 3000 meters high – Glacier 3000! Soaring high and overlooking the alps this was truly a take-your-breath-away moment. Once they landed champagne was served as a treat before the morning activities commenced – enjoying the peak walk, a husky experience, picnic and a snowbus ride.

The second incredible experience was the proposal of course! We whisked our couple to  Lac des Chavonnes in style. When they arrived Alphorn blowers serenaded them followed by the reveal of a most breathtaking display of flowers on the secluded lake. Cally was completely blown away by the surprise created for her by DJ and of course she said ‘Yes!’. Then the two got to enjoy some traditional Swiss fondue at the Hotel & Restaurant Lac De Chavonnes to continue their celebration.

Switzerland was the right choice for this big day because on the one hand DJ loves adventurous activities and on the other hand Cally loves beautiful romantic views. In this way the two elements were perfectly matched to allow for an outstanding proposal that incorporates both personalities!
