The next morning, the two cyclists are treated to a hearty breakfast at the Hotel Chur and pick up their packed lunches.
Start of the road bike tour
The road bike tour takes Thomas and Christian from Chur to Tiefencastel, with beautiful scenery all the way. They witness the transition from urban to rural conditions and have the opportunity to refill their drinking bottles with fresh water at a well.
Arriving at the top of the Albula Pass
The challenging ascent to the Albula Pass lies ahead. The cyclists negotiate the demanding hairpin bends in bravura style.
Once at the top, at the highest point of the Albula Pass, Thomas and Christian reap the reward for their efforts. The sweeping views of the majestic Alpine peaks are simply overwhelming. The fresh mountain air and tranquil natural surroundings are a welcome reward for the challenge they have completed.
