100% Women World Record
Intro
Stepping out of their comfort zone and up to the summit! The 100% Women initiative gives women greater prominence in Swiss mountain sports and inspires them to tackle new adventures. This summer's ambitious goal of forming the world's longest all-female rope team is achieved and thus a new world record has been set! Women from across the globe came together on June 17th 2022 to climb the 4,164m Breithorn near Zermatt – and they did it!

The message
- The Swiss mountains are accessible to all women and are a great place for active recreation.
- For most of the women, this climb will be their first ever 4,000m peak. A truly unique experience!
- Female empowerment: we are taking women to the top of Switzerland and sending a clear message by doing so.
- Together, we are strong. It’s all about cohesion and team spirit, symbolised by a female rope team.
- We promote shared experiences among women.
- We protect the unique, high alpine landscape and run the international event in a Swisstainable and climate-neutral manner (in cooperation with MyClimate)

- 10 inquisitive women from regular walks of life who were selected from all applicants
- 21 trained female mountain guides
- 38 celebrities, journalists and influencers from all over the world
