This tour is a great opportunity to enjoy awe-inspiring views of the Alps and tasty gastronomic delights.
Passing through shady forests and crossing lush meadows, this rewarding one-day hike is ideal for the whole family. The maximum total ascent is around 400 metres and the paths are well developed and clearly signposted.
The tour starts at Oensingen railway station. However, it is also possible to start at Oberbuchsiten or Egerkingen stations. If you start in Oensingen, you will first pass the Roggen mountain restaurant and eventually reach the Zur Alp mountain restaurant in Oberbuchsiten. The final port of call is the Blüemlismatt restaurant in Egerkingen.
