In Urnäsch there are some ‘beastly‘ good holiday homes! It’s all about animals, nature and life on the farm at the Urnäsch Reka Holiday Village. The small animals‘ stable and petting zoo are an invitation to get to know miniature goats, ponies, chickens and rabbits. Various excursions in the region enable you to refresh your acquaintance with the world of plants and animals, just a stone’s throw from your holiday home: e.g. visit a neighbouring farmhouse or chat to the woodsman in the forest covered in freshly fallen snow.

Family Hotels

The Urnäsch Reka holiday village has accommodation for 50 families in its Minergie houses made of locally-sourced timber. The apartments (2½ to 5½ rooms) come with a balcony or patio). There is also an indoor swimming pool with kids’ paddling pool and sauna landscape, numerous community rooms and a range of outdoor games and sports pitches offering an almost infinite number of entertainment options.

There is a range of excursions available on which you can discover the fauna and flora of the region. These include farm visits to view rare animal species or a visit to a forest warden in a forest freshly covered in winter snow.

Each of the 12 Reka holiday villages in Switzerland has an indoor or outdoor swimming pool, an on-site host, the Rekalino family programme with childcare and a free loan service for baby items.
