House of Photography
Overview
Intro
The IPFO House of Photography on Kirchgasse is a venue for internationally renowned photography exhibitions that are designed to inspire and delight people from near and far.
The IPFO House of Photography has a long history. For 145 years it served as a nature museum until it was acquired and extensively renovated by the IPFO team with the support of Olten in 2020. Today, it is a venue for high-calibre photography exhibitions with international appeal.
The first of these was none other than the American film director and exceptional artist David Lynch with the exhibition “Infinite Deep” in March 2021. Further highlights in the recent history of the project include the World Press Photo Exhibition and “Bryan Adams exposed”.
Guided tours and group workshops are available at the House of Photography on request.
