FORTYSEVEN thermal wellness spa
Overview
Intro
At Switzerland’s newest thermal wellness spa, guests can leave their everyday worries behind them and enjoy the ultimate in relaxation.
November 2021 saw the opening of FORTYSEVEN, designed by star architect Mario Botta. Baden is heading back to its roots – since this is where the Romans had their baths over 2,000 years ago. At 47°C, Switzerland’s most mineral-rich thermal waters bubble up from the depths into eight indoor and outdoor pools where guests can indulge body and mind. The varied sauna landscape with its eleven saunas, including a women-only sauna, stimulates the senses and calms the mind. Boris Blank has composed an audio-visual design that immerses guests’ senses in a one-of-a-kind journey through space and time. The spa features eleven rooms, two of which are intended for couples, in which guests can pamper themselves with luxurious treatments. The restaurant provides culinary specialities freshly made with local and sustainable ingredients. This is wellness to pamper all the senses.
