Lake Constance container

A new tourist attraction has been on display at the harbour in Kreuzlingen. Fascinating stories about transport history in the Lake Constance Region are being presented in a walk-in container of discovery. A converted freight container features an illuminated three-dimensional Lake Constance light fixture complete with peepholes and the stair access to the container roof. Visitors can leave their mark by writing a message on a chalk board.

Modern Art and Culture at the Landessender Beromünster

The KKLB is one of Switzerland’s largest and most successful art and culture projects. The various buildings of the KKLB are situated in the middle of a beautiful landscape with direct views onto the old, 217-m-high Blosenberg main transmission tower. The Great Aletsch Glacier radiates archaic beauty. The best vantage points to take in the impressive size and uniqueness of the Great Aletsch Glacier are high up from the viewpoints Moosfluh, Bettmerhorn and Eggishorn. This giant stream of ice, which stretches over 20 km from its catchment area in the Jungfrau region (4,000 m) down to the approx. 2,500 m lower Massa gorge, never fails to cast a spell over visitors.
