Intro
Explore the architectural history of La Chaux-de-Fonds, and you’ll find that the starring role belongs not to the city but to its most famous son, Charles-Edouard Jeanneret – better known as Le Corbusier.
A pleasant walk leads to the most important buildings relating to the young Le Corbusier: his birthplace, his first architectural bureau, the famous Villa Turque and the elegant Maison blanche that he designed for his parents. This tour lasts about two hours and can be booked by both individuals and groups. For most of the time you will be walking. Some of the stages are covered by public transport.
