In the footsteps of Bartli the dwarf
Overview
Intro
Bartli the dwarf lives in the magical Braunwald forest. It is home to a total of eight enchanting places straight from a fairy tale. To find these magical places, just follow the trail and stay hot on the heels of Bartli the dwarf...
Bartli the dwarf with his long beard, red trousers and green jumper emerges from his hut from mid-June to October to welcome families and show them around his forest.
His forest is full of the most astonishing places: the dwarf’s castle, the gemstone cleft, the dwarf’s cave, the Rindenhüttli bark hut, the dwarf’s tower, Tiidi’s house and, finally, the dwarf’s bathing spot.
This long trail covers four kilometres and takes three and a half hours to complete. There are several hiking options for groups to choose from, so that the trail can be experienced in many different ways, each with its own pleasures.
