Originating from seven historic houses in Lucerne's old town and mentioned for the first time as a "pinte" (restaurant) in 1517. Every year, 1-3 rooms are comprehensively renovated. Two restaurants - the rustic Burgerstube and the Sauvage restaurant (14 Gault Millau points). Two of their famous dishes are the Beef Stroganoff and Chateaubriand, both prepared at the table. The Hotel Terrasse am See was opened in 1873 under the name Hotel Rigi-Bahn. Its fantastic location right on the lake, the breakfast buffet above the lake until 11am in the Restaurant Rondel, the tranquility and views from the panoramic terrace and the evening atmosphere will transport you to another world. This holiday hotel offers the right infrastructure for a number of hobbies and is ideal for excursions, being right next to the boat landing and the Vitznau-Rigi Railway. The last major refurbishment was carried out in 2012.
