Originating from seven historic houses in Lucerne's old town and mentioned for the first time as a "pinte" (restaurant) in 1517. Every year, 1-3 rooms are comprehensively renovated. Two restaurants - the rustic Burgerstube and the Sauvage restaurant (14 Gault Millau points). Two of their famous dishes are the Beef Stroganoff and Chateaubriand, both prepared at the table.
