At the beginning of 2002 completely reconditioned and palced in the heart of the old part of the town, lends the Hotel Adler the city of Murten a nostalgic painting. First writings mention the hotel in the year 1936 in a Domus Hospitis. Today it is still the ideal accommodation for businessmen or an extended week-end-stay. Goethe, Casanova and such well-known artists as Ted Scapa, Basil Luginbühl, Peter von Wattenwyl, Corpaato, Jérôme Rudin, paco, Hollenstein and Antoine Meyer slept here.
