The SAC Huts

Against the spectacular backdrop of the breathtaking mountain scenery they offer Alpinists, climbers, hikers, families and nature lovers simple but cozy accommodation. A visit to an SAC Hut is an unforgettable mountain experience.

Due to their remote location, mountain huts cannot offer the level of comfort customary in the plain. Only a few (mostly newer) huts are equipped with small bedrooms or showers, and the limited space in a fully occupied hut does not permit a lot of privacy. So that everything runs smoothly when many people share limited space, a few rules of conduct (Hut Rules) are posted. Naturally, these also apply in huts without a warden.
