The children's entertainment begins at the foot of the mountain: the new red funicular is a fast way to reach the airy heights. And then there are choices to be made: miniature railway or playground, a game of frisbee-golf or outdoor nine men's morris, driving around in kids cars or organising races on the large green? Then a picnic on the large green or chips in the restaurant to regain strength. It goes without saying that the Gurten is car-free which allows parents to enjoy the beautiful views without having to worry.
