Extra-wide, superbly prepared pistes and a wide range of winter sports activities on offer – these are the characteristics of the Romansh-speaking holiday region of Brigels Waltensburg Andiast.
Comfortably sized with a cosy and relaxed atmosphere, a wide range of culinary delights to tempt you and an excellent selection of family activities make these three sunny villages perfect winter destinations.

Winter sports

The 75 km of wide prepared pistes make this area perfect for skiers – beginners and experts alike – who would rather admire scenery than lifts. Artificial snowmaking on 21 km of pistes guarantees skiing until Easter; there’s also night skiing once a week. A good selection of mountain restaurants and bars to choose from, the free-skiing zone, boardercross and rails round off the offer on the mountain.

Children

The Swiss Snow Sports School with “Snowli” children’s land – complete with rope lift and magic carpet – provides endless fun, whilst the 2 winding snowtubing runs, each 100 m in length, 2 sledge runs up to 6,5 km long, ice field, “snow flurry” programme and children’s evenings ensure that your children will never get bored!

Wining and dining

Whether traditional home-style cooking, dinner in a guildhall, or elegant dining in a gourmet restaurant, choose from the fine cuisine of the 13 restaurants in the three villages. Regional specialities such as “maluns”, “capuns” and “pèsch-maghers” feature on every restaurant’s menu!

Winter walking and snowshoeing

35 km of clearly marked and well-prepared winter walking trails across sun-drenched plateaus are ideal for leisurely walks and longer hikes. Follow the 35 km of snowshoe trails around the villages to secluded snowy spots, or set out on a treasure hunt, equipped with GPS and snowshoes.
