Family happiness: When the kids have a good time, so do the parents – and the Valais village of Grächen does all it can to make this happen.
Parents can rent baby and toddler gear, for example, saving needless expense. Up here on the sunniest mountain plateau in Switzerland, holidays are carefree. Large parts of the village are carfree; paths are pushchair-accessible; and the gondolas up to Hannigalp and to Seetal (2,894 m) are easily reached on foot. Family-friendly accommodation includes a KidsHotel, while fun gadgets to ride on the slopes ensure that older children also enjoy themselves.
Top tip
A spooky tunnel, an adventure tower, an igloo village: the huge children's ski and play area has been rebuilt, and offers all the fun children could wish for. Not to mention what parents desire: professional childcare.
