Active holidays away from the crowds and yet still close to where it's at! The Glarnerland region, approx. 1 hour's drive from Zurich, can be reached easily either via the motorway or by train.
In addition to leisurely walks, guided by genuine Glarn lamas if desired, you can also get an «adrenalin fix». For the very brave, there is the excitement of abseiling down the wall of the Limmern dam, combined with bungee jumping, canyoning in a uniquely beautiful gorge and a flying fox above the Diesbach waterfall - all guaranteed to put a special tingle in your day. Families too can have fun «scraping the curves» on the Kerenz summer luge track, or going pony trekking followed by a chat by the barbecue. And for those who can feel their tired bones after riding out, a whey bath in the open air is sure to put the spring back into their step. Thank goodness for comfort and the ability to enjoy life!
