The "Espace Horloger" displays a collection of antique wall clocks dating back to between the 16th and 19th centuries. There is also an exhibition detailing the history of watchmaking in the Vallée de Joux, a reconstruction of an old watchmaking workshop and many temporary exhibitions.

Tuesday to Sunday, every afternoon.
How to get there:
By car: take the A1 motorway, exit at Cossonay and follow signs for Cossonay, L'Isle, Col du Molendruz and Le Pont. Alternatively, take the A1 motorway, exit at Aubonne and follow signs for Biere and Col du Marchairuz. The site is 50 minutes away from Lausanne and 60 minutes away from Geneva. Follow signs for "Musée Essor".
By train: take the TGV (Paris - Vallorbe - Vallee de Joux) and the regional Le Pont - Brassus train. The "Espace Horloger" is in the Essor building, a couple of minutes' walk from the station.
