Part of a collection of "Indergand" tools are displayed in the
workshop, and demonstrations take place regularly. The children's area
offers activities linked to temporary exhibitions. There are some
particularly fine works from the art nouveau period, including the
enchanting St. Cecilia (around 1900), which probably originated from
the studio of Louis Tiffany. The original castle also houses a stained
glass research and information centre whose library is open to the
public on demand.
This region has an exceptional glassworking
history: stained glass cricuits and a special stained glass route allow
visitors to wander in the heart of this charming countryside and visit
buildings with valuable contemporary stained glass windows.

These superb collections present a unique over-view of the arts of stained glass and reverse painting on glass, reflecting a wonderful world of images alive with light and colour. The medieval and Renaissance wings of Romont castle, joined by a glass passerelle, and set against the backdrop of the magnificent courtyard and orangery, provide the perfect showcase for these masterpieces in glass from the Middle Ages through to the 21st century
