The ViaSbrinz follows the transport route used for hard In the late middle ages, the mature hard cheese, known today as “Sbrinz“, was an export hit in central Switzerland and on the north Italian markets. Not least thanks to this cheese, the mule trail across the Grimsel and Gries passes to Domodossola developed into a well-established trading route. Old routes full of character and an unbeatable mountain landscape transform the ViaSbrinz today to an unforgettable hiking experience.
